Lane: So... To explain Team Halfie is simple. Chuck and I both are half Korean and are very proud of BOTH cultures. Interestingly enough, Chuck and I met through an online site. My first words to him was "Hello... Fellow Halfie", and it stuck from there. As our relationship has quickly grown, we have been trying to build the STRONGEST team characteristics as our relationship's base. We truly believe that if a couple acts as a team, nothing is impossible. There is constant communication, loyalty, dedication, and trust in a successful team... and we try to mirror those qualities. Chuck is such an amazing person with a huge heart. You'll be able to see this throughout the blog. I could go on and on about his qualities... but this is probably enough gag-worthy info for now :)
Chuck: From the "guys point of view".... There I was in Vegas with my BFF, Warren, doing non-sinful things that I received that monumental message from Lane. I was skeptic about online dating and had no luck with finding a interaction with someone that lasted past the first email, and they say guys are the ones looking for booty calls pshhh!!! The thing that helped create Team Halfie and had me fall head over heals for Lane was our ability to communicate via email and texts. Odd you say?! Yes, Lane lived on the east coast while I was living/working on the west coast. We met while I was away working for almost 3 months!!! Yes we talked via email and texts for 3 whoooole long months before ever meeting in person. Crazy I know right?! Our ability to communicate with each other and be on the same page is the foundation of us having something I have always wanted but never found in a woman. Ha- bet a lot of you woman would never hear a guy say communication came first! :P
